The Right Season

INTRODUCTION

There isn’t a platform where people can purchase premium herbs and spices while also learning about their origins and discovering recipes to use them.

Problem Statement:

The challenge is to create a seamless, user-friendly interface that allows visitors to easily browse, select, and purchase products, while effectively conveying the brand’s commitment to quality, creativity, and the joy of culinary exploration.

Goal Statement:

USER RESEARCH

These users struggle to find a single platform that offers premium, culturally rich ingredients along with the transparency and creative inspiration they crave. They face frustration with websites that lack high-quality, unique products, clear origins, and an engaging, visually appealing shopping experience, making it difficult for them to fully explore and enjoy their culinary passions.

Summary:

1. Users find it difficult to source high-quality, culturally diverse products from a single platform.

2. Users are frustrated by the absence of detailed information about the origins and sourcing of the ingredients.

3. Users struggle to find creative recipes and ideas that help them fully utilize the products they purchase.

USER JOURNEY

Mapping

Mapping out Michael's user journey highlighted the advantages of developing a responsive, user-friendly website for a company selling herbs and spices. This insight guided me in creating paper wireframes and the Lo-Fi prototype.

After researching and conducting a rapid prototyping session, I selected the most promising features from different sketches and combined them into a cohesive final design. Once this stage was complete, I digitized the wireframes using Figma to advance the project development.
