AmaTerra is a convenient app designed for ceramists, offering a seamless platform to purchase tools and clays directly to your doorstep. The inspiration behind AmaTerra stemmed from the lack of satisfactory websites or apps catering to pottery essentials. Thus, we crafted a solution where users can access everything they need in one user-friendly interface.
Following the creation of our questionnaire and gathering feedback from a diverse group of ceramists, ranging from students to professionals, we discovered that 91% of them express dissatisfaction with existing websites for purchasing tools and materials. Armed with these insights, we created our two personas, Amelia and Vincent.
User Research:
Problem Statement:
Amelia it’s a ceramics student who needs to have an accessible app where she can order all of her ceramic supplies without the necessity to drive 4 hours to the nearest ceramic store. Because the current ceramic websites are inefficient.
Once we had finalized the problem statement, our next step was to meticulously craft our user flow, ensuring it addressed all key aspects identified. With the user flow in place, we transitioned seamlessly into the creation of the high-fidelity prototype, laying the foundation for our design implementation.
